Never in a millions years would I have thought I would be doing this.

Given my background and career choices, it never occurred to me that being a voice over actor would be something I’m good at!

Growing up in a decent area and attending schools that were a little on the rough side and then getting a start in the military led me, ultimately, to a long career in an oil refinery running process units and later transitioning to Health and Safety, becoming a firefighter -EMT-Safety officer and number of other hats that I wore. All that led me to believe this was all there was for me.

Attending a Thanksgiving dinner a friend of a relative commented to me (three separate times) that I had a really good speaking voice. I soon learned that this women, Paulette Lifton, was an accomplished, Emmy-award winning voice actor who, in concert with two other accomplished actors, operates the highly acclaimed Voice Masters. I had no idea what a voice-over actor was at the time and thought her comments were her way of making me feel welcome. Paulette shared with me a link to the Voice Masters and, not thinking there was anything for me to do there, I ignored it. Months later, I decided to checks it out, asking Paulette for some guidance on where to start. After attending my first class, I discovered that I was on mt way to doing something very exciting and fun. AND best of all, it was something I was good at!
